How did you meet?
My husband had been a family friend for years and was in the same year as my sister in school. We just started chatting one day and the rest is history, he is my person, best friend and soul mate.
Tell us about the proposal!
He got my ring when he was in Canada with the army and proposed on our anniversary; it was very sweet and just us two in our first flat together, just how I wanted it! I had no idea, everyone else did though!!
How did you choose where to shop for your wedding dress?
I was recommended to shop at Isabella Grace by a friend and it was the best decision ever! I didn’t even shop anywhere else!
Tell us about your wedding dress experience, and why did you choose your wedding dress.
Picking my dress will always be my all time favourite part in the run up to my wedding; the experience was incredible, and I don’t think I stopped smiling. I knew my dress was THE dress from the moment I saw it. Once I had it on, I didn’t want to take it off!! It was everything I had imagined my dress would be and more!
Describe your wedding day. Where, when, how…
My wedding day was just the most incredible and perfect day, we got married at the Tower of London on the 26th May at 4pm and had our reception at The Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe.
Favourite part of your wedding day?
The whole day was amazing, but my most favourite moment was walking down the aisle and seeing my husband.
Anything you would change if you could do it all again?
Your top tip for future brides?
Being engaged is the best feeling and the organising is so much fun, but the day tops it all; take in EVERY moment of your wedding day, it goes by so quickly! I would re-live my wedding day every day if I could!
